MARTYRS MONASTERY

The monastery complex surrounded by the Martyrs' Wall is built on a rocky and forested mountain near Kutaisi and is one of the most important monuments of ancient Georgian culture.

The monastery is notable for its medieval architectural buildings, a three-story tower, the wall of which has a relief Bolnian cross.

Every year in the monastery, the martyrdom festival is held.
