GORI

The city of Gori is one of the oldest cities in Georgia, it was declared a city in 1801 from the name of the rocky hill erected in the city, on which the old fortress is built. Also in Gori is the house museum of the leader of the Soviet Union Ioseb Satlin, the city carved in the rock, the cross-domed temple of the 7th century.
